Welcome! I am a Real Estate and Urban Economist whose research focuses primarily on real estate related phenomena that have implications for urban environments. This includes drivers of spatial patterns of volatility in markets within and across cities and challenges and tradeoffs associated with access to affordable housing.

I am current a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Finance Department at the University of Cincinnati where I am working on issues related to the changing patterns of housing demand, affordability, and the placement of LIHTC projects. Prior to my position at UC, I was a research economist at Fannie Mae where I researched issues related to housing affordability, sustainability, and household formation. 

I hold a doctorate in economics from Syracuse University and a master’s in economics from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to tenure at Syracuse, I was a Research Associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
